11 May 2008 - U12 Cup Winners

Congratulations goes to the Clubs Under 12 Boys team, who beat Cwmaman 3-1 in the Cup Final on the 11^th May.

In a pulsating match, the Grasshoppers got away from a scare when Cwmaman blasted the ball over the bar from the penalty spot when James Thornton was brought down.

End to end football followed with the Grasshoppers having the better clear chances and only a man of the match performance from Ellis Nash the custodian in goals for Cwmaman stopped the Grasshoppers from romping to a decisive win.

Ciaron Davies scored the opener and further goals from Jake Edwards and Sam Woodford compiled the misery onto Cwmaman.

Late pressure from Cwmaman resulted in Jordan scoring a goal to bring the score back to 3-1, but Grant Hopkins in goals for the Grasshoppers produced a string of goal bound attempts on goal.
