The Club Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer delivered their annual reports and all questions were handled to the satisfaction of all present.
The Club accounts were fully endorsed
The Club thanked the outgoing officials for their work
Election of New Committee – Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Welfare Officer – note possible change to Bank Mandate
The following Club Officials were duly elected:
Chairman:
Secretary: Dawn Price
Treasurer: Neil Hopkins
Welfare Officer: Tony Wynne
Ento Sponsorship Deal
The Ento sponsorship proposal was put before the meeting and unanimously accepted
The Club will now be called: ENTO ABERDARE GRASSHOPPERS
The Club logo will be changed in consultation with ENTO Aberaman FC to reflect the change in name.
The Sportslot application was signed by the new officials
Election of Aberaman Ento Joint Committee Member (subject to previous point being passed)
Mark Barnes was elected as the Joint Committee Member
Teams for Next Year / Registration of Teams / Training Nights
No under 16 team will be entered by Aberdare Grasshoppers – a letter is to be sent to the parents of the current under 14`s to inform them of the situation
The following teams are to be entered into the Aberdare League for the season 2006/2007:
1 Under 14
1 Under 12
5 Under 11
3 Under 9
The proposal of entering a girls team into the new FAW regional girls team structure was fully discussed – the proposal was fully accepted as being the right way forward but without coaches to be with them on a Sunday was felt to be impractical unless a solution could be found – it was agreed that the coaches involved would try to resolve the situation outside of the AGM and report back to the next meeting.
Training nights will be:
Under 7/9/11 Monday 6-7pm
Under 12 Monday 7-8pm
Under 14 Tuesday 7-8pm
Criminal Records Bureau
The position regarding CRB checks was explained and a meeting with Tony Wynne to be arranged asap to sign the forms
First Aid Course / Coaches Awards
Carol Bernardo to be approached regarding setting up a First Aid Course for the first week of September 2006
Football Kit / Equipment / Colours – next season
It was agreed that the Club would introduce a new style of kit for the next season for all teams – the same colours to be used
60 new balls will be purchased
A full list of equipment needed to be supplied at the next meeting
AVFL AGM Points to Raise – “Centenary Money / Celebrations”
Following a lively discussion it was agreed that the following questions be sent to the AVFL to be raised at the AVFL AGM in July:
1. A detailed costing of the Centenary Dinner is supplied covering:
Total cost
Cost of Free tickets
Cost of Entertainment
Profit/Loss on event
2. What was done to support junior football in the Centenary Year?
3. Why cannot questions be taken off the floor?
4. Why the registration date for teams is June 30th before the AGM etc.?

Functions / Presentation afternoon - next season / year
It was agreed that a function would be run in conjunction with Ento Aberaman and that an end of season in house club tournament be explored to take place at Ento Aberaman`s ground
